27m Award-Winning Classic Sloop "Savannah"

Savannah is an internationally recognized work of art, embodying classic elegance, superb sailing qualities, innovative engineering and timeless beauty. Both the Superyacht Society and Showboats International Magazine chose Savannah as the world's "Best Sailing Yacht under 36 Meters" in 1998. Showboats wrote, "Savannah is a first-rate achievement and sets new standards for the entire luxury yacht industry." Boat International USA called Savannah a "tour de force of single-minded aesthetic purity made possible by the intelligent application of modern boatbuilding technology."

Drawing from the grandeur of a bygone era, Pedrick Yacht Designs matched graceful proportions and a carefully planned interior with a modern underbody and advanced composite engineering. The result is a strikingly beautiful yacht that will endure as a paragon of twentieth century classic yacht design.

Savannah's flush deck is accented by varnished teak skylights and coamings. Her beauty carries throughout a luxurious interior, finely detailed by John Munford Design. The paneled mahogany interior is centered on a large and well-appointed salon, with the owner's stateroom aft and a guest stateroom, galley and crew forward.

Below the waterline, Savannah has an efficient cruising hullform, deep Whale-Tail fin keel, and separate rudder. Engineered to last more than a century, her construction uses carbon fiber, Kevlar and PVC foam to be relatively lightweight yet extremely robust. Carrying a tall, fractional rig, also in carbon-fiber, Savannah's thrilling performance under sail has made her a winning "spirit of tradition" racer.

Savannah promises to capture the admiration of generations, whether lying restfully at anchor or speeding by under full sail. In her creation, Pedrick Yacht Designs has embodied the finest of classic style with the best of modern engineering and performance design.
